Challenge
The founders of Insound approached us with their business plan and asked us to help them realize their vision for an alternative to traditional music communities for the Indie Rock market.
Solution
We began by designing the corporate identity and brand attributes. Next, implementing a complete E-Commerce solution, Content Management system, Broadband streaming video area and “annex” commerce area that allowed Insound to manage and fulfill their own unique merchandise. All of the solutions were created to allow Insound staff ongoing control of site management, content publishing and merchandise updates.
Results
Olive has worked with Insound since 1998 to continually expand the site’s vision and services. The site is an all encompassing music destination that features over 300,000 products, content from over 100 fanzines from all over the country, streaming video and comprehensive community features. Over the years it has received accolades such as Forbes’ “Best of Web”.
